The Emperor Sworpion is the 4th major boss in Pikmin 4 (Wii U). It resembles a giant scorpion. It has stinger and 2 giant claws, with 8 legs and a hard exoskeleton. It is black colored with red eyes, and a purple tipped stinger. Its exoskeleton is impossible to break! The difficulty of Pikmin 4 spikes up when you battle this boss.

This species of scworpion dig nests for female scworpions, usually in hollow rocks. They tend to live in high areas, preferably canyons. Then the creature waits for prey, then ambushes it and takes the food to the female. Being the largest species of scworpion, it eats smaller animals, even its own kind. It also has a stinger, used to paralyze prey. However its poison is enough to kill small creatures such as pikmin, or even hocotatians! Its claws are terrifying, however, it only occasionally uses them for offense. They are actually for fighting against another scworpion for females.

Basic Strategy

The glowing purple ball is your target. When enough damage is dealt, it will explode into poison. The Scworpion's abdomen is exposed. Attack the abdomen quickly before it closes again!
