The Emperor Bulbear is like an Emperor Bulblax for beginners- a slow enemy that eats Pikmin that linger in front of it for too long. But because it does not have a protected backside like the Emperor Bulblax, you can sneak behind it easily and damage it there. However, it is also accompanied by Dwarf Bulbears, so the fight won't be easy unless you get rid of its followers first. The one trick it has up its sleeve (that's not meant to be taken literally, it has no hands and doesn't has sleeves) is the Emperor Bulblax superjump attack from the first Pikmin game, which it will only use after 75% of its health has been depleted. Watch it closely so you can plan for when it will jump and make sure you're out of the way ahead of time.
