The Eiysee is a young species of Pupilgiest appearing in Pikmin Evolution, being the young form of the Eiyseeyuu. It is a rather small enemy, resembling a tiny red eye, but the pupil isnt a pupil, rather its a fanged mouth. Eiysees dwell in dark caves, where they at first bury themselves into walls alongside their larger counterpart the Big Eiy, giving it the appearance that the walls have eyes, making the enviroment they are found in much more creepy. When prey enters their habitat the Eiysees pop out of the walls to begin to attack. Eiysees are quite basic enemies all things considered, they mainly attack with forward lunged in an attempt to snag food such as Pikmin, before eating them ravenously. The Eiysee can snag up to two Pikmin with a lunge, so they aren't that dangerous alone. However the Eiysee are often encoutnered in hoards or spawned constantly by a nearby Eiyseeyuu, so their fast eating becomes a problem. Eiysees are luckily quite frail, only needing one or two hits to kill. Alloy Pikmin are a good choice to use against this species as their shockwave stomps do big damage to the swarm of Eiysees. If your lacking Alloy Pikmin you can also spray them with water, which they are very weak to due to being too small to handle the strong currents. A single blue syrup is that is needed to kill a swarm of Eiysees, so that is also a viable strategy in battling the Eiysee swarm. However due to syrups being hard to come by, it shouldn't be used unless your really overwhelmed by Eiysees and lack Alloy Pikmin. Overall an easy and very simple enemy to defeat yes, but their speed and hunger makes them surprisingly damaging and shouldn't be underestimated.

Ivy's journal

There are many creatures that just bother me on a fundamental level, Phosbats, Toxstools, but most of all the Pupilgeist family give me the most creeps for obvious reasons. The Eiysee is the young form of the Eiyseeyuu, who stay in their parent's body until they are grown enough to be safely expelled into the wild. They hang out with others of their species and hoard together to hunt in packs for food, mainly carrion. An Eiysee can only mature into an Eiyseeyuu when they eat a balanced diet of calcium, iron, and potasium, after which their outer bodies will rupture into the airborned body of its adult form. However those that lack this balance will continue to grow and become to big to fully mature, becoming neotenic in the process.

This is best cooked fried in thick batter and lathered with oils and vinegar. Turns out you can get anyone to eat anything if they don't know what they are actually eating.
