These beasts first appear in Pikmin: Corporate Combat. This creature is identical to the Impaling Droneule, except it has a green-tinted shell and red bulb. It is otherwise the same, but when it loses half its health, it will spray acid from its underside. Said acid kills all but Green Pikmin.

This subspecies of Droneule has gained a tricky battle technique. If it is assaulted, it will spray a corrosive liquid from an orifice on its underbelly! This chemical is highly acidic, capable of causing exposed body parts to disappear into mere ashes, from flesh to bone! Those entering Droneule colonies should take extreme precautionary measures to protect themselves from any trace of the substance. Recent research indicates these creatures live in large colonies, with many different subspecies dwelling, each playing a different role. The Corrosive Droneule protects the colony, but further examination also reveals that they "execute" unwanted members of the colony with their acidic secretions.

Remove the bulb and discard the remains. Sun dry the bulb and put on a celery stick covered with peanut butter.

How to Kill

Rock Pikmin cannot be impaled by this creature, but once it reaches half health, either switch out your Rock Pikmin for Green Pikmin, or for the more daring type, keep the Rock Pikmin with you and avoid the acid attacks.
