The Chameleon Bulblax is a member of the grub-dog family that has the ability to change its skin pigmentation to match that of its surroundings. It utilizes this ability to hide from predators and ambush prey. Contained within a Chameleon Bulblax's mouth is an abnormally long, flexible tongue, resembling a Whiptongue Bulborb's, which the creature uses to bring prey into its mouth and to repel predators and competition. This survival tactic often fails against Crystaltongue Wollywogs, resulting in the two creatures fighting to the death.
