Attacks
When entering into its lair, it will pop out of the ground and immediately start spitting boulders at you! The boulders move really fast so you have to watch out with your Pikmin. He will also start moving around after he has taken some damage. After half his health is depleted, it will start to throw Bomb-rocks. He can have up to four Bomb-rocks at once! Even though he is likely the 6th boss you will meet, he is really tough. This beast is located on sub-level 6 of Grassy Gulch and on a random sub-level in Rememberance Ravine.

How to Kill
The Cephalorock is a spit-shot appearing in Pikmin: The After Years as the sixth boss, initially encountered on sublevel six of Grassy Gulch and later fought again in Remembrance Ravine. It is a giant octopus-like creature that has blue skin, disturbing red eyes, four tentacles, and wears a cap made of grassy soil with some flowers growing on it.
The only way to hurt the Cephalorock is to trip him. You can only trip it by pulling its tentacles while he is stunned. To stun him, throw a Pikmin at him while he is sucking in air to shoot rocks, similar to the Armored Cannon Beetle battle. He will then become dizzy, so now is the chance to pull him. Use 10 Pikmin or 1 Purple Pikmin on each of his tentacles and they will automatically start pulling them. Once knocked down, he will be defenseless so you could start chucking Pikmin onto his back. Repeat this process a couple of times and watch out for bomb-rocks and you should defeat him in no time.

Trivia
When Pikmin and leaders enter its lair, the Cephalorock immediately erupts from the ground and begins spitting high-velocity boulders at them. Although initially stationary, the Cephalorock can not be hurt until it is stunned and then tripped, which is done by throwing a Pikmin at its mouth as it inhales to spit out a boulder, temporarily lodging it inside and making the Cephalorock dizzy, and afterward having ten Pikmin or one Purple Pikmin pull on each of its four tentacles simultaneously to force it to the ground, where Pikmin can be thrown at it. After some time, the Cephalorock will recover, stand up, continue its onslaught, and, should enough harm be inflicted upon it, also begin moving about its territory. Furthermore, after reaching half-health, the Cephalorock will start producing and throwing up to four bomb rocks at a time.
