The Blearabide is a rare relative of the Medusal Slurker adapted to arid climates. The bottom half of the creature is covered in a tough, leathery hide impervious to harm, so Pikmin can only attack its softer upper half. The Blearabide spends most of its time with its sharp tongue lodged in the ground, waiting for Pikmin or a leader to come near. When it has its sights on a target, it prepares to shoot its tongue upwards through the ground where it stands, impaling it; a successful strike will cause the creature to continue attacking in that general spot, potentially skewering more Pikmin. Dirt will noticeably push upwards where the tongue is about to strike, so moving out of the way when this happens is preferable to avoid casualties; the Blearabide will not move its tongue to follow its target. Rock Pikmin are also recommended to fight this creature, as their rocky bodies are impervious its sharp tongue.
