The Volatile Trunkler is the boss of Windy Waterside. The large beast is found at the arena of the area, and its attacks are dropping explosive fruits or rolling them. The fruits appear similarly shaped to apples, have a red color, and start flashing yellow upon hitting the ground. They create small explosions 2 seconds after. An orange-colored variant has a smaller chance of appearing, but they explode in only 1 second and have a bigger explosion. Upon defeat, it lets out a long, low-pitched scream, its pupils shrink, and it falls onto the ground, causing a harmless shockwave that launches [[leader]]s and Pikmin away.
