A variation of the wogpole that will jump out of the water and splash water on your pikmin, requiring them to be whistled, or else they will die. Is pale pink, and has outer gills resembling an axolotl. Only appears in cave areas, and usually spawns in water puddles. Is slightly more likely to bounce back into water than a regular wogpole when out of water.

Notes

Olimar's Notes

This species of wollywog (or should I say wogpole?) lives in deep dark caves. In order to conserve nutrients, they stay in a wogpole stage for their entire lives. Their eyes have regressed into being very weak, and they mostly sense their surroundings with their vibration-sensitive feelers, which double as external gills.

Louie's Notes

Dice the meat into as small pieces as possible and stew in a simple broth for a refreshing soup. Garnish with its dried feelers for a more elaborate feel.

Shacho's Notes

If we put some research into the mechanism that allows it to sense vibrations so well, we could develop sensory aids for the blind.
