Velvet Passage

Template:Infobox Cave The Velvet Passage is the first cave the player get in into the area The Crossroads, in the game President's Adventure. The cave is an entire challenge for the Red Pikmin. It has it's walls a clear red color, and, sometimes, the floor. There are enemies that only the Red Pikmin can defeat, and hazards that it only can beat.

Sublevel 1

This sublevel is a straight corridor with one enemy, one hazard, and one treasure. It looks like a tutorial for beginner players. First, defeat the enemy, then, destroy the hazard, collect the treasure, take it to Mayor, and dive deeper in the hole at the end of the corridor.

Sublevel 2

With a more complex design, the first room has more enemies and the fire hazards. The player's vision can be damaged if he chooses to defeat the enemies before the hazards. After the first room is clear, walking a few steps will lead the player to the second room, where are more enemies. Here, there's also three white gates for the Red Pikmin to destroy. In the first one is the hole to dive to the final sublevel, in the second one, is the treasure, and, in the third one, when the Red Pikmin destroy the gate, two Honeywisp will appear.

Sublevel 3

The final sublevel bring a normal design of a cave. It is smaller then the other two sublevels, and seems to bring two squared shaped rooms, both with enemies. After the enemy in the last room is defeated, the treasure will appear, and the player can leave the cave had collected all treasures.

Filled with Red Pikmin only challenges, this first contact cave is the engine that pushes this adventure, as well as the adventurer, forward. Beware of newcomer enemies, and fire spitting traps. With such an amazing world over our eyes, the harmful things look just silly now, don't they?
