- In Canon media, the Grub-dog family is Seperated into the Genera 'Oculus' and 'Ichthyosa', but due to both genera being completely different in morphology, in Pikmin I, 'Oculus' and 'Ichthyosa' are Subfamilies (Oculusinae & Ichthoysinae).
