This article or section presents information pertaining to Pikmin: Spark, a fanon game created by Glubbfubb.

The Ironclad Tarantuar is a boss awrapnid encountered in Pikmin: Spark, and is the boss of the Cavern of Cobwebs. It dwells deep in the northernmost point of the cave, in its den, holding onto an important item that is needed to progress to the next area. A thick metallic exoskeleton protects the Ironclad Tarantuar from physical attacks, and, likewise, it mainly uses physical attacks when battling Pikmin.Its primary means of attack is through the use of its fangs, by biting wildly to eat Pikmin as it travels across its arena or spraying from them a potent toxin to poison all except White Pikmin. The Ironclad Tarantuar can also curl up into a ball and roll around in an attempt to crush Pikmin with its weight. However, its most dangerous attack is its ability to scatter bomb rocks from a small hole at the top of its thorax. These bomb rocks detonate moments after being deployed unless the Ironclad Tarantuar drops them in a straight line from the ceiling, as they detonate only from the shockwaves made when the beast crashes to the ground. Goo Pikmin are instrumental in the fight against the Ironclad Tarantuar as they are able to disarm the bomb rocks and use them for themselves. Then, the tarantuar must be tricked into eating them, causing them to explode in its stomach and it to flip over, revealing a glowing, pulsating, blue area to attack. Eventually, the Ironclad Tarantuar will come to, cover its weakpoint, and shake off every one of its attackers, including the adhesive Goo Pikmin.

In Ultra-Spicy Mode, boulders fall from the cave ceiling when the Ironclad Tarantuar collides with a wall during its rolling attack. Additionally, the creature has a new attack wherein in ricochets across the arena in its ball form after being fed a bomb rock and reveals its weakpoint after colliding with a wall.

Upon death, the Ironclad Tarantuar spits up the Data Box, a Samsung Galaxy smartphone worth × 575. Collecting it grants the leaders a needed upgrade to travel to the Chilling Frontier.

It is a relative of the Arachnode and has a noticeable thick metallic shell on its body that protects it from direct physical attacks. It dwells deep in the northernmost point of the cave in its personal den holding onto the [[Pikmin: Spark/Refuse|Data Box]] which is required to progress to the next area. As said previously its metallic hide is immune to most physical attacks. Likewise, the Ironclad Tarantuar mainly uses physical attacks itself when battling [[Pikmin]]. Using its venom-coated fangs it can either rapidly bite across the arena to swallow [[Pikmin]], or cause the fangs to foam with toxic acid and spray that as an attack. It also can roll up into a giant metal ball in an attempt to crush Pikmin with its body. However, its most potent attack is the ability to scatter [[Bomb-Rocks]] with its thorax via a small hole on top of it. These Bomb-Rocks will explode shortly after placement making this its most dangerous attack. It will even walk on the ceiling to scatter Bomb-Rocks in a straight line before dropping down detonating the rocks with its vibrations. However, if you have a squad of [[Goo Pikmin]] then you can disarm the Bomb-Rocks and use them yourself. If you feed the Tarantuar these rocks it will explode and flip over revealing a glowing blue pulsating area to attack with Pikmin before it closes this area shaking off everyone including Goo Pikmin. Furthermore, the venom does nothing to [[White Pikmin]] so having a squad of those two types would work out the best against this fight.
