The Burst Dweevil is a species of dweevil appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They have the same body structure as the other elemental dweevils except that this dweevil's color is pale orange. Like other elemental dweevils, they generally keep to themselves, fleeing approaching danger, but take refuse or enemy remains and use them as armor to protect themselves, a potentially annoying behavior if such objects were of importance. This particular species of dweevil defends itself by releasing a powder that detonates upon contact with air, instantly killing any Pikmin, except the blast-resistant Goo Pikmin, caught in the blast. Unlike the Volatile Dweevil, which is incinerated when its bomb rock detonates, it does not harm itself with its attack.
