The Globular Taxidermy is a treasure in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. It is a plush of a Qwilfish from the Pokémon franchise that values at × 300, has a carrying weight of twelve units, and can be carried by a maximum of twenty Pikmin at once.
The Globular Taxidermy is located on the second sublevel of Collapsed Reef. It is inside one of the four Water Dumples surrounding the exit, and isn't much of a challenge to attain. The Watery Blowhogs in the sublevel have most likely been slain prior to revealing this treasure as well.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- “We've found this interesting taxidermy within a cave sunken beneath the waves, one I've grown to call the Collapsed Reef due to its resemblance to a coral reef from my own home planet. The creature depicted seems to be both an echinoderm and fish, displaying the spines of an urchin but also a tailfin. I wonder where this creature could possibly be found alive... but I worry about what my Pikmin would do should I find it.”
Sales pitch
- “Was this creature ever alive? Is it even real? Perhaps sampling genetic information from it would help you start the search to find this mysterious fish! Only then would you be able to say... if it was delicious or not.”
