The Sappy Squortle is a squortle. It vaguely resembles typical grounded blowhogs but with larger snouts, beady eyes, insect-like legs, and an orange stripe. They are orange and have slime perpetually dripping from their snouts. When spotting Pikmin or leaders, they spit sticky slime at them.

- “Sappy Squortle / Pseudosus viscosus / Squortle family. They resemble Blowhogs but with some differences. I concluded that they are not Blowhogs or even related, but are merely mimics of them. Instead of spewing streams at a short range, they prefer to fire over a long range, yet in exchange they can't hit that many targets in a row. It looks both goofy and cute, but maybe only to me.”
