Matchid is a raphidbug in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is a dark green, scaly aphid-like creature, being oval-shaped and with antennae, red eyes, and four legs. It idly wanders its territory and tries to keep away from Pikmin and leaders, but when struck by a hazard, specifically fire, water, electricity, poison, wither, or sand, the hazard will stick to the Matchid, and the Matchid will try to charge at them. Regardless of whether or not the creature misses, the hazard stuck to it will disappear.
