Blackout Facility is a cave in Pikmin 2... Again?. After two minutes elapse on a sublevel, the ambient light will go out, rendering the sublevel overwhelmingly dark. This also presents a unique, almost sunset-like threat in that Pikmin not part of a squad on a dark sublevel will be permanently left behind, and subsequently eaten, upon delving into the next sublevel. Fortunately, glowseeds, which provide precious light and can be carried by Lichen Pikmin, are found in the cave.
This cave is inspired by the Low-Power Tunnel from Run 3.
