The Winged Snagret is a rare snavian that is more a bird than a snake. They have purple feathers, but they have vibrant highlights decorating certain parts of their bodies. Winged Snagrets are only ever seen in Volcano Caverns, and a friendly one named Alex is befriended by Olimar during his trek into it. In battle, Winged Snagrets are in constant flight and can only be hit by Yellow Pikmin because they fly so high.
