Waterfall Trench is the eighteenth cave in Pikmin: The War of the Pikmin Planet. It is located behind the waterfall at Waterfall Lake.
Sublevel 1
Enemies
4 Toxicrabs have turned this area into a construction site. Watch for random holes in the ground.
Sublevel 2
Enemies
Explosives litter this entire sublevel, and the Dirigibugs don't help much. One of the bomb-rock carrying bugs has the key.
Sublevel 3
Enemies
- Anode Beetle x64
There is a very large body of water in this sublevel. The Anode Beetles, however, electrify the entire lake when they shock each other. You must learn the timing of their attacks, and take cover on small islands. You have to wait 5 minutes before the hole appears.
Sublevel 4
Enemies
Watch out for the Mawcudas on this sublevel. The hole is clogged, so you have to get your Blue Pikmin to it before they get eaten.
Sublevel 5
Rest Sublevel.
Sublevel 6
Enemies

- Blue Bulborb x3
This sublevel is very tall, and there is a waterfall in the middle. You have to climb down the small cliffs to reach the bottom. Along the way, Water Dumples and Blue Bulborbs block your path.
Sublevel 7
Enemies
Defeat this Goolix quickly, and take its key.
Sublevel 8
Enemies
- Black Pikmin x20
Just when you think that this is a rest sublevel, Black Pikmin show up and attack your Pikmin group. Defeat them all and get ready for the boss.
Sublevel 9 (Final Floor)
Enemies
If there is one thing that you can tell about the Crawbster, it's that it really wants you to die. Get it to roll into the wall and immobilize it, then pound it as hard as you can. Once it is dead, you can access the Dark Grotto.
