The Toothy Bulborb is a large and aggressive grub-dog appearing in Pikmin Eco, being an exclusive species alongside the Blue Bulborb. It has sandy skin, a black rump bearing white spots, and black lips with prominent saber teeth on the sides of the mouth. Its dwarf counterpart is the Dwarf Toothy Bulborb.

- “A very large and fairly rough species, this grub-dog only lives in hardy habitats. The teeth-like growths on the back of the jaw seem to be used in rival fights over territory and mates. The only grub-dog species more aggressive than this is the spotty bulbear, and even then it's not by too much. Because of this, it is debated whether it is a bulborb species or a secondary bulbear species.”
