The Tentborb is a ruthless abomination in Pikmin: Evolution Unleashed that is created when a Tentspear merges its genetic information with a bulborb's. Once joined, they form a dark bulborb-shaped creature made of writhing dark tentacles. It lacks most facial structures except for a mouth and glowing red eyes that are sunken into its face. It can eat Pikmin and summon Tentgrubs. Upon defeat, the Tentborb harmlessly bursts into dark tentacles that disappear once they touch the ground.

- “This freaky creature is one of the most dangerous members of the tentaki family. When a tentspear's DNA is mixed with an adult bulborb's, the bulborb is corrupted by the DNA, causing it to lose its mind and train of thought. It attacks anything that is not in the tentaki family and will stop at nothing to destroy its target.”
