Volitarium cores are important objects in Pikmin: Louie's Revenge that serve as a focal point of the main story. They are spheres of crystalline volitarium that are found only underground, always surrounded by several insects under its effects; the more difficult the cave is, the more insects a volitarium core will be surrounded by.
