The Rocky Ravine is an area in Pikmin: Louie's Adventure, located to the north of the Crash Site. It is a giant, deep rift in the earth in the middle of the forest. At the lowest portions of the ravine is a stream of lava. The rift itself has many long, twisting pathways, and several tunnels in the ground. Two Pikmin are discovered in the depths of this mighty chasm: Green Pikmin and Pink Pikmin. Twelve supercomputer parts fell into the ravine, wedged between the rock.
Opening cutscene
While Louie and Violet fly over the ravine, they gaze in awe and wonder. When they land, Violet immediately leaps out of the S.S. Porpoise and dashes to the chasm.
Louie calls out, "Be careful, Violet!" Violet turns her head around and says "I'm fine, there's no need to worry -- "
A piece of the earth she's standing on falls down into the ravine; Louie exclaims "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!" He rushes over to Violet.
"Are you all right?" he asks. "Uh... I'm okay..." Violet says, worriedly.
As the two reassure each other, Louie notices a shining thing deep in the rift. A supercomputer part! "Come on, Violet, there are some more parts here, too. Let's grab them!" Louie says, joyfully. "Yes sir," Violet says. The two begin to trek down, carefully into the rift.
