The Purple Power Parasite is a powerasite that latches on another enemy to shroud them in poisonous gas so long as it is attached. Only White Pikmin can be used to attack the Purple Power Parasite's host and the parasite itself. Attacking the parasite enough will cause it to leap off of its host, returning the host to normal, and attempt to flee. It is harmless when alone, making it easy to kill.
