Ichthyosa is a genus in the grub-dog family. Although they are more recognized for their lack of eyes compared to other grub-dogs, the genus was actually named for ichthys, Greek for fish, both for their scaly skin and that the first member was the first known aquatic species of the family found. While later members were discovered to be land-dwelling, and certain Blue Bulborbs were found to be aquatic, they still are one of the few scaly creatures known to the planet.
