Grub-Dogs

Bulborbs

  • Electricity: Bulborbs will flinch and take a quick jump backwards if shocked by electricity of some sort, be it gates, wires, or other enemies.
  • Fire: Bulborbs will stomp their feet, close their eyes, and walk out of the fire, smothering the fire if it was made by an enemy, like a Pyroclasmic Slooch, and will rarely catch fire, setting its rear on fire and lighting any non-Red Pikmin on fire. This will also drain said Bulborb's health quite quickly, taking out a Normal Red Bulborb in 10 seconds at most.
  • Poison: The Bulborb will flinch, stomp forward, burying 8 pikmin at most which will jump out of the ground on their own, and cough, clearing some of the poison gas. If it is a Fiery Bulblax, it will set the poison on fire and instantly kill itself, destroy the poison source, and any Pikmin/small enemies caught in the inferno will be evaporated, while other larger enemies such as itself will be killed and their corpses left behind. Bosses will only flinch if the game is hacked and bosses put near the event. Captains will take 1/8 health worth of damage and be knocked back considerably, and will take no damage but will just be knocked back a bit if the Scorch Guard is obtained.
  • Explosions: Different Bulborbs react differently to explosions.

Bulborbs like the Red Bulborb and Orange Bulborb will get half of their health knocked out and get knocked down, while the Hairy Bulborb hairs will all fall off. Bulborbs like the Fiery Bulblax will get its fire blown off as well as getting 20% of its health down.

  • Pikmin: Bulborbs will flinch if a Purple Pikmin is thrown on top of its back, and will be able to be knocked over by Rock Pikmin

Dumples

Dumples will react differently to different elements.

  • Electricity: The Dumple will become immobile for a few seconds while shaking a bit before jolting back. This will also take a bit of a Dumples health.
  • Fire: Dumples will jump in the air as well as catching fire, smothering the flames, but since it is on fire, only Red Pikmin can harm it. The Dumple will die in a few seconds if it does not get back in water, and Toxic Dumples will burst into a ball of flames, knocking down any Red Pikmin and instantly killing and Non-Red Pikmin like an explosion.
  • Poison: Poison will make the Dumple cough and will slowly kill the Dumple unless it is a Toxic Dumple.
  • Explosions: Dumples will be thrown quite far and killed instantly once they hit the ground.
  • Pikmin: Dumples will be killed instantly if a Purple Pikmin is thrown on top of it. If Rock Pikmin are thrown onto it, it will flinch and fall over.
