The Overlady Bulblax is a spotlighted boss in Pikoblitz. It is the main reason PNF-404 is revisited, collecting treasure on the way to find it. It is the target of each Challenge Mode stage and is the final boss of the game, located on sublevel thirteen of Conquest Cavern. At first, on Hocotate, it resembles a Dwarf Bulbear with gray spots on its rump, but its appearance changes quite dramatically on PNF-404. On the Pikmin Planet, as it matures, it takes an unhealthy interest in overeating.

In the Conquest Cavern's final sublevel, it is twice the size of an Empress Bulblax. It is not pregnant with hundreds of Bulborb Larvae, but is massively obese, like the Sausageborb in the Bulblax Bath, yet much larger in girth. It rolls around like a normal Empress Bulblax, will make boulders fall when it hits the wall and can eat up to five Pikmin at a time. To add to its sheer lethality, the Overlady Bulblax's sides, by some genetic uniqueness or evolution, have openings, normally covered by skin flaps, that suck in nearby Pikmin. They are then brought directly to the beast's digestive system and killed instantly. They will suck in a Pikmin who was thrown in the wrong direction after a second or two. The beast's skin flaps have no limit to the amount of Pikmin they can suck in.

Killing this beast is no simple task. It has over twice the health of a normal Empress Bulblax. Additionally, as it can eat Pikmin, either its upper lip or forehead should be targeted. Using ultra-bitter spray on the Overlady Bulblax renders it almost invulnerable for a few moments, but still immobilizes it. Purple Pikmin are suggested in this fight. After it is defeated, the Overlady Bulblax sheds its skin and lays on its back, exhausted and now as small as it was on Hocotate. The creature itself and its skin can be recovered as a treasure named the Queen of Trouble, and is eventually sold back to the Hocotate Zoo.
