The King Jellyswooper is a larger variant of the Jellyswooper. It is the first boss fought in Pikmin E, found in the Forest of Hope. It has a ring of appendages on top of its head, resembling a crown, hence the creature's name. Defeating it is required to obtain Red Pikmin. It attacks in an identical manner to the Jellyswooper, by swooping down from above or by swinging back and forth from a fixed position.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- “The tentacles on its head remind me of a crown, which is where it gets its name from. But, we don't exactly know its gender, so for all we know, it's a Queen.”
Louie's cookbook
- “Whilst the main body is still uncookable, the tentacles are a tad more solid and make a good appetizer! Just stick it in the microwave, and tada! Reminds me of the chicken tenders at one of those intergalactic fast food places.”
Eli's notes
- “For a "boss", as Olimar describes it, it isn't much. But if I have to agree on something, they do taste like chicken tenders.”

The Jellyswooper Monarch is a larger variant of the Jellyswooper serving as the first boss fought in Pikmin E: Remastered, found in the Flourishing Forest.
Since at this moment, we don't know its gender, we've decided to simply call it a monarch instead of putting it under a gender-related label.”
Louie's cookbook
- “Whilst the main body is still uncookable, the tentacles are a tad more solid and make a good appetizer! Just stick it in the microwave, and voila! The texture and flavor of the result reminds me of the chicken tenders at one of those intergalactic fast food places, maybe this is their famed secret ingredient?”
