The Honey Bulborb is an aggressive grub-dog in Pikmin: Treasure Trove that constantly drools honey and wanders the locations in which it is found. Honey Bulborbs can eat Pikmin, and the honey they drool slows any they miss. Attacking from behind is wise because of its drool. The Dwarf Honey Bulborb is its dwarf counterpart.
Notes
Doko's notes
- “Hm, this wild creature is really interesting. It uses its disadvantage, the dripping honey, as an advantage. Speaking of honey, I wonder if that's still edible. If so, I might be able to make a fortune off that honey alone! If this creature has dwarfs, they are bound to be nearby. They never wander far, making it difficult to attack the dwarfs without waking the larger bulborb.”

Attacks | Eats and crushes Pikmin, produces adhesive |
The Honey Bulborb is a yellow-rumped grub-dog distinguished from the rest of its family by its little wings, stinger, round teeth, honey-drool dripping from its mouth, and black and yellow rings acting as spots. It acts as a miniboss, trying to eat Pikmin at first by using its wings to try and hover and then walking toward them when it gets tired out, but then at half its health, it uses a new attack, spitting out sticky honey, trapping Pikmin until they were whistled out. If not freed in time, the Honey Bulborb will use its stinger to crush those Pikmin, but it may also use its stinger against any nearby at the time.
