The Dwarf Brown Bulborb is a breadbug mimic appearing in Pikmin I. It has gills on its dark-skinned face and a brown back with dark brown spots. It resides in mud, where it can ambush Pikmin and leaders that pass by. To quickly exterminate it, landing two Pikmin on its back will effectively crush and kill it.

- “This close relative of the Dwarf Orange Bulborb effectively mimics a Brown Bulborb's young. It often bathes in mud to be safe from most Pikmin species and gets bacteria on itself which, in exchange for the dwarf brown bulborb being cleaned, the bacteria will be fed by eating harmful elements on the dwarf brown bulborb's skin – this is a case of a symbiotic relationship.”

In Pikspore, the Dwarf Brown Bulborb is the breadbug mimic of the Brown Bulborb. It looks like a typical bulborb, but it has a brown back with white spots, a tan face, and green eyes. Dwarf Brown Bulborbs are about the height of a typical Pikmin and are slightly weaker than most other dwarf bulborbs. Swarming the Dwarf Brown Bulborb is effective, as is throwing Pikmin onto its back for an instant kill.
