The Crystal Clawbstork is a boss creep-crab appearing in Pikmin: The Final Frontier, where it is first encountered at the Aqua Garden and is later refought at the Land of Trials. It resembles a Segmented Crawbster, except with a pinkish-red face, and the rest of its body is covered by a thick watery substance much like a Goolix's membrane that acts as a protective barrier. The Crystal Clawbstork can smash Pikmin into the ground with its claws, killing them on impact, and any Pikmin, except Blue Pikmin, that touch its body will start to drown. As such, Blue Pikmin are recommended, but not necessarily required, to fight the Crystal Clawbstork, as its face and body are vulnerable to attack. When defeated, the Crystal Clawbstork will dissolve into a harmless pool of water that rapidly evaporates.
