The Cloudy Progg is a boss in Pikmin 3: The Progg Wars. It can shoot bolts of lightning, spawn Electric Proggs, and throw spiked balls. As it is airborne and can not be defeated through conventional means, such as with Pikmin, the Cloudy Progg must be struck with its spiked balls. This is done by standing at an edge of its arena and pushing a spiked ball down the slope surrounding it, causing the ball to gain speed and then fly off a ramp. Precision is required as the spiked ball can easily miss the intended target.

A Thunder Progg is a progg that floats around with its cloud-like body. This progg attacks by shooting lightning bolts toward the ground, which creates a small wave of fire upon contact. The Thunder Progg can be killed by throwing Pikmin onto its head, and Yellow Pikmin are highly recommended for battling it. Its cloud-like body makes it impervious to bomb rocks. When it dies, it blows away with the wind.
