Clanking Pikmin are a hostile Pikmin species appearing in Pikmin 5: New World and under the control of Louie. They strongly resemble Rock Pikmin in shape, although with black skin and a beige shell. Their eyes have black sclerae and glowing red pupils, and their leaves and petals are yellow, their flowers having a blue center. Clanking Pikmin can also be of two sizes, large Clanking Pikmin serving as bosses. Clanking Pikmin are responsible for the creation of Pikmin Monsters.
In Pikmin 5: New World's unnamed sequel, Clanking Pikmin are friendly Pikmin and can merge with other Pikmin to enhance their abilities. Clanking Pikmin are weak when alone but when merged gain a five percent increase to their damage output.
