The Bulbpole appears in Pikmin: Evolution Unleashed as the evolved form of a Blue Bulborb that ate an Evo Pikmin. It strongly resembles a Wogpole, only larger and with a bulborb face, and must stay in water at all times to avoid suffocating on dry land. It attacks by darting forward through the water, eating any Pikmin in the way. Fortunately for land Pikmin, their ferocity is limited strictly to the ponds and lakes in which they dwell.

Notes

Olimar's notes

The evolutionary stage of Blue Bulborb after consuming an Evo Pikmin. It changed into a superb aquatic hunter, having gained gills, and a tadpole-like appearance to deceive its prey. It loves to be in marshes and deep blue creeks and builds its nest along the edges of the water. Its internal organs have shifted positions in its small body, allowing it to take minimal damage when crushed or squished, making it a hard to terminate underwater foe.

Louie's notes

For a tangy sweet and sour sushi surprise, throw in some collard greens and steak sauce with your fishy flavored food, sprinkle some spicy basil, and add lemon pepper inside of your surprise.
