A Blizzard Bulborb is an evolved grub-dog appearing in Pikmin: Evolution Unleashed. Blizzard Bulborbs were previously Hairy Bulborbs that have consumed an Evo Pikmin, and only then can they undergo such a magnificent transformation. It thrives in frozen climates and loves to make its home inside frozen caves or hillsides. When disturbed, it exhales a freezing blast of icy cold air that freezes Pikmin and or other small organisms on contact. It is a stronger variant of the Hairy Bulborb, possessing a larger build, more elegant fur, and additional, prominent fangs on its top lip, near its snout. Caution should be taken when fighting this beast. Cyan Pikmin are the best offense when fighting Blizzard Bulborbs.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- “This bulborb has displayed a great enhancement of the grub-dog family. It possesses the great ferocity of a fiery bulblax and has huge jaws that allow it to eat up to thirty Pikmin. Within its evolutionary lineup, it has gained a new power: it can now exhale ice-cold winds that can freeze any Pikmin on contact except for cyan Pikmin. It has developed small structural changes, however, such as a bigger head and a larger set of eyeballs. It may also have improved vision and night-stalking abilities, although it has never been tested.”
Louie's notes
- “Cook for thirty minutes at five-hundred degrees. For a burnt nugget meal, cook at six-hundred degrees. After that, spread with Salisbury sauce and a rich creamy cheesy melt. If in the mood for marshmallows, get chocolate sauce, spread across smoothly, and until creamy tender. Then add brown sugar and sprinkles and you've got yourself a delicious delectable dessert.”
