The Ballistic Groink is a relative of the Gatling Groink appearing in Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator. It has pink skin, a pink facial shield, blue eyes, and gray faceplating. Upon sighting viable targets, the Ballistic Groink's eyes shine, and instead of revealing a tubular snout, the gills on its sides split open to reveal dual rapid-fire pistols, making running directly toward the Ballistic Groink while it is firing extremely dangerous. The key to battling the creature is to take cover, wait for it to cease fire, and then emerge to attack it. As it rests and reloads, rush behind it and defeat it before it can open fire again. Ballistic Groinks are not common enemies, and the only area they appear in is Penumbra Plains. When defeated, the Ballistic Groink violently, yet harmlessly, explodes. Unlike the Gatling Groink, it does not revive after death.
