The Acidic Burrow-nit is a burrow-nit that is too acidic for any Pikmin but Green Pikmin to safely touch. Its appearance and behavior are similar to the Cloaking Burrow-nit's. Swarming these beasts with Green Pikmin is the best way to get rid of them.

- “The acidic burrow-nit is a special kind of burrow-nit that secrets special enzymes from the skin that will instantly destroy all non-acid-resistant creatures, such as Pikmin. The enzymes come from a special element in this creature's diet, which is the sheargrub. Recent studies have shown that if the sheargrub is taken out of the diet of this creature, the enzymes are depleted, and the acidic burrow-nit is rendered almost defenseless against predators.”
