The Zombie Pikmin is a rare phenomenon that occurs when a Pikmin is attacked by a zombie creature such as a Zombie Sheargrub. They have gray skin and a rotten appearance and have wilting and dying leaves, buds, or flowers. Healthy Pikmin that come into contact with a Zombie Pikmin will become one. Zombie Pikmin can not be controlled, only put out of their misery with fire or anything related to fire. They lack an Onion as they logically would not have one and instead emerge from graves.
