Re:About the cleanup project

Rest up and feel better soon. You've many friends here that can pick up where you left off. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

No, they do not. This is elaborated upon in the Marching Onward forum, which should be read over alongside anything else in the Project Clean-Up category. So far, only area, cave, treasure, character, and ship articles must follow the "(<game name>)" naming scheme. This is done so games can have content with the same names but be completely different. Enemies, Pikmin, obstacles, hazards, and the rest can be named normally since they're generally going to be the same between iterations. It doesn't matter what you help with in terms of Project Clean-Up, so long as something's being done. There is content that should be prioritized over other, less important content, but I don't care so long as things are being worked on, since it will all ultimately be looked at anyways. Also, we already have a userbox for Mac users. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy .

Oh, I'd forgotten to mention that, when you're the first person to upload an enemy picture, no matter the game, specifying the game it is from is optional. The same rule applies to enemy icons. If you choose to specify the game's title, its initials go at the beginning of the filename, not the end. Many examples exist if you need reference points. I know Pikipedia's system for those is a bit different, and maybe they should be changed to match, but I digress. If a game's initials are the same as another game's, however, after the game's initials goes the name of the user who made that specific game. You can see examples of that with files starting with "PTT", as Pikmin: Treasure Trove and Pikmin: Treacherous Treasures share the same initials. Also, icons are necessary for many infoboxes now. The icons are used to represent items elsewhere on the wiki using {{icon}}, and if you don't have an icon ready, use an appropriate dummy icon instead. That's all for now. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

No need to apologize or feel bad, friend. It's not required to help with Project Clean-Up, so don't feel like you're pressured into being part of it. And please don't worry about making mistakes. It's okay if you do, they can make great learning experiences. That goes for everyone here. This wiki is about making Pikmin content, not cleaning up Pikmin content. I completely understand if you just want to work on your projects and nothing more. If you want to know anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We're all friends and equals here, and I'm happy to help you. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Secret

An old fangame that I was working on by the name of Pikmin 4: The Wraith's Revenge. It was an entirely solo project (This was 2018-2019 before I left for a while and came back in late 2020 to reminisce because I learned earlier that Pikmin Fanon was going down only to learn that it wasn't going down and as such nobody was actually around) and as such nobody could actually give me any sort of criticism. It was fundamentally flawed, with such features as the having of 15 different MAIN Pikmin types even without Purple or Winged Pikmin (I didn't really like the Purple's design and both were way OP), every single important item in the game that doesn't give upgrades being a different version of The Key or a random piece of an excavator (based on the short movie Occupational Hazards), and the existence of Rainbow Pikmin. Said Pikmin types were, in order of discovery until after Yellow: Red, White, Rock, Ice, Yellow, Blue, Spike, Glide, Puff, Mystic Puff, Aura, Cobalt, Bomb, Acid, and Snaptrap, as well as Rainbow (as previously stated) and Darkmin. Absolutely Disgusting. Oh, and you literally revisit Formidable Oak. I had just about every page related to P4:tWR that I made deleted. The only survivors were the Silent Glowbelly, Icewater Skeeterskate, Hailstorm Dandelfly, Galvanic Crystasinge (horrible name, I know, but it used to be even worse), and my magnum opus, the one and only, Bug, Myth, and Legend, the Foundation Dweevil. That is the story that you never knew. *cue Desbug outro* User:Cyan piklord 64/sig

Almost all of those enemies appear in PWW! :D They're very good concepts, Cyan Piklord, and they all have wonderful names. Well, I renamed most of them, but still. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Bomb rock Pikmin

I'm the one that renamed "Bomb-Rock Pikmin" to "Bomb rock Pikmin". It better suited the name and capitalization that "bomb rock" uses on the wiki. "Bomb rock" is how it is written in Pikmin 3, which is why the name was changed. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Re:Thanks

You're welcome! Always happy to help. Currently taking a little break right now to do other things, so I'll have the last two Pikmin images fixed soon. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Discord

I do! I'll add you right now. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

...Nevermind. Did you paste your Discord tag correctly? It says no user by that name exists. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

icon

i like the new icon for the wiki – I'm GrandGreenie.png Captenluigi2, and you can now play as Mario!

Thank you so, so much! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Re: Template

I know, I'm working on it. I just don't wanna accidentally delete some kind of important code and break the whole thing without knowing how to undo it.
