Re:Hello

You can put a page or file into a category by typing [[Category:<text>]] in the page. For example, if an enemy uses fire, it should have [[Category:Fire enemies]] present at the bottom of its article. Category tags should always go at the bottom of a page, below the rest of the content on it. Needless to say, there are many, many categories, so a bit of time should be taken to look through them all through Category:Categories. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

You're welcome! And just letting you know, please don't add enemies back into Category:Enemies, because those are enemy articles I have to look at and edit yet. Of course, if you come across an enemy article that has no enemy categories whatsoever (because those most certainly exist, an example being the Icy Bulborb Larva article before I got to it), you should add them to the enemies category so I know to look at that article as well. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

You get better as time passes, so don't worry if your current edits may not seem like the best. There was a time when even I made questionable or poor-quality edits. Just keep at it and you'll eventually be a skilled editor, no matter how you choose to contribute to the wiki. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

Re:Deletion

Permission granted. But... are you sure you want to tackle that task head-on, by yourself? The Fanon and Pikmin Family categories are enormous. Well, if you insist on doing it, just make sure to put every article in a general category it belongs in if it isn't already in it. Examples would be an enemy article going in the enemies category, an area article going in the areas category (same with caves, but with the caves category instead), and so on. Also, please ensure a Pikmin article is in the "Pikmin family" category after you remove it from the "Pikmin Family" category. We can worry about infoboxes and such later, what matters right now is categories. I don't need any random, lost, uncategorized articles sitting around anywhere. Thanks in advance! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

Just wanted to say, as you're working on this project, move any pages you come across that are in the "Non-Canon Games" category to the "Fanon games" category. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

Also, remove any {{Fanon}} and {{NoReal}} templates you see on articles. They apply the "fanon" category to pages they're on. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

'Course, Cap. That's what friends are for. I've removed my game, Pikmin: Dual Worlds, from the Fanon Category and am working on moving members of Pikmin Family to Pikmin family. I'll let you get the Cyan Pikmin article though. The Category Box for Pikmin Family is hidden somewhere in there, but I can't seem to find it. I'll also move Dual Worlds to the Fanon Games category, too. Learned 'bout that due to edit overlap. Speaking of friends, I've made a template. Template:Cyan piklord 64Friend Hope ya like it! Thank you both so, so much for helping clean the wiki up. It means so much to me. And Cyan piklord, sometimes users don't put a category at the bottom of the article like they should, so it could be literally anywhere. Perhaps it may be between paragraphs? ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

Yay i got rid of the right one on the Cyan pikmin article! – I'm Capten luigi2, and you can now play as Mario!

Tried checking there, but it doesn't seem to be there. The only way (I think) this could've happened, taking that into account, is if there was an infobox mix up. Glubbfubb's version's the only ones with infoboxes, and he's (as far as I can currently tell, he is pretty new after all so I haven't really seen too many of his pages) pretty good about that. Honestly, looking for categories that should be deleted is fun. And congrats! Remember, as you're working on clearing the "fanon" category, place articles in the categories they belong in (ex. areas in the areas category, plants in the vegetation category) so they can be easily found later. Not just by me, of course, but also by other users, whether they want to edit them or just look at them. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

You're welcome. Also, as you remove items from categories, be sure to put them into the category that superseded the one it was in. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy

If you don't understand what I meant, here's an example: the non-canon games category being superseded by the fanon games category. In this example, items from the non-canon games category are moved to the fanon games category. I see you've just been removing them from to-be-deleted categories they are part of instead of moving them over to the category that's going to replace it. I just wanted to elaborate on this to make sure you understand. I wouldn't believe it's too much for you to handle, considering you cleared almost all of the fanon category by yourself. You've made great contributions to Project Clean-Up so far and it's truly been a big help. If the category isn't superseded by another category, then just remove it from the to-be-deleted category it's part of. Happy editing! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy
