The Titan Mamuta is the second-largest boss in Pikmin Z, and the final boss within the Colony Ruins, located specifically in the Soldier's Branch. It almost identically resembles a Mamuta, with the sole exception of its gigantic size, large enough to easily hold a leader in the palm of its hand. In a similar response in many animals to growing size, the Titan Mamuta has grown to gigantic proportions as a main response. Its diet consists of seeds and fruits, and it has no known predators.

Its main method of attack is similar to a regular Mamuta, in that, if threatened, it'll use its huge hands to slam down onto the attacker, dealing high damage to Captain Alph and burying many Pikmin in one execution. It can't turn regular Pikmin into flower Pikmin if they become buried, instead reducing their maturity to the leaf stage. At the beginning of the fight, the Titan Mamuta initially can not be harmed, as all Pikmin thrown at it merely rebound harmlessly off of it, but there are five Titan Pikmin scattered around the area to unearth with other Pikmin. The Titan Mamuta will attempt to either grab Alph and move him away or simply flatten him. A shadow from its hand will loom overhead, and a hiding place will be necessary to avoid it. Upon revealing all five Titan Pikmin, the second stage of the fight commences, and all of the other Pikmin flee, leaving Alph only with the Titan Pikmin to use against it. Since Titan Pikmin can not be thrown, they have to be led close to the Titan Mamuta for them to attack it. The Titan Mamuta will occasionally slam a Titan Pikmin into the ground, which another Titan Pikmin can easily pull out.

When the Titan Mamuta's health reaches one-tenth, a cutscene will start. Before Alph makes the call to finish off the Titan Mamuta, he sees a group of Mamutas approaching the tree the Titan Mamuta had planted to help cultivate it. After witnessing their collaborative effort to care for nature, Alph ultimately decides to leave the Titan Mamuta be, despite the S.S. Dolphin II's surprise. As thanks, the Titan Mamuta gently carries Alph to the ship part it kept. Therefore, the Titan Mamuta is the only boss that Alph doesn't defeat.
