To do:
  • Make every media header template resemble this template.
  • Have the template properly categorize pages that have the same name as the specified media under the space character in their respective category.
  • Have the template categorize fanfictions into Category:Fanfictions only if both the page title matches the text in the {{{1}}} field and fanfic= is true.
  • Possibly make the template categorize pages that have the nocat= field set to true into a special category. This would apply to media articles that have no other pages related to them.

Parameters

Parameter Mandatory Default Purpose Detailed description
1 Yes Main page and category The page the relevant content belongs to.
2 Yes Creator The game's creator.
3 No Game type If the game is a ROM hack, specify the game it is a hack of. Also changes some text.
fanfic No Inclusion If the media is fanfiction, give this field a value such as "y". Also changes some text. Ignores nocat=.
series No Inclusion If the fanon game is not standalone and is instead part of a series, give this field a value such as "y".
subcat No Subcategory The specific subcategory the page belongs in if any. This works only if a game is specified.
nouser No User page link If the user is not registered, give this field a value such as "y" to disable the link to their user page.
nocat No No categorization Disallow the page from being categorized into its own fanon game content category. Useful if the page is standalone.
