Statistics are a pivotal gameplay element in Pikmin: Before the Impact. There are four main statistics that determine a leaders skills, which are Power, Command, Stealth, and Speed. A leader's statistics will increase when they level up, which happens when they accumulate enough experience points by defeating enemies and bringing their remains to an Onion or the S.S. Cafe's pod. Each leader's set of statistics are unique, and their growth depends on their physical capabilities.
- Power determines how much damage a leader does to an enemy by punching them. The higher the statistic, the more damage is inflicted. Robert's highest statistic is Power, which makes his Power Up upgrade more expensive.
- Command determines how loyal Pikmin are to a leader and also how dependable they are. The lower the statistic, the most often Pikmin may lag behind, trip, and perform tasks they were never ordered to. StefyG's Command statistic is the highest of every leader's, making him the most respected among Pikmin. To compensate, his Speed upgrade are more expensive.
- Stealth determines how easily a leader and their Pikmin can approach or walk near an enemy that is unaware of their presence and not notice them. The higher the statistic, the easier it will become to sneak around oblivious enemies. This is one of Brandon's best statistics due to his ninja capabilites. To balance this, his Stealth upgrade is more expensive.
- Speed determines how quickly a leader and their Pikmin can move as a group. The higher the statistic, the swifter a leader and their Pikmin are. Brandon's other highest statistic is Speed, and due to this, his Speed upgrade is more expensive.
Nathaniel's statistics are relatively balanced, except for his Command statistic which is a little below the rest of his statistics. His upgrades are cheap, however, so he can be easily made very powerful.
