The Solar Idol is a metal object in Pikmin Forever, and one of the most common metal objects in the game. It is a jack. This object can appear many times throughout the game, either sparsely scattered throughout areas or appearing randomly from defeated enemies. No instance of the Solar Idol has a set location, and they can appear every day. As such a common metal object, it has a weight of 1, and only 1 Pikmin can carry it. It is also only 5 units worth of metal, the lowest value in the game.
Olimar's Notes
Through thick and thin, the star this planet orbits has been a close ally. Its descent warns of the creatures that could spell my doom, and its rise signals a new day of exploring. I have realized that, if we are truly to colonize this planet and live here, this star will need a formal name... I don't know why, but my dog's name Bulbie comes to mind. Perhaps it's because I share a loyal and familiar connection with this star. I suppose that's why I'm not the authority on naming celestial bodies...
