The Serpent Hoop is a metal object in Pikmin Forever, and one of the most common metal objects in the game. It is a split key ring. This object can appear many times throughout the game, either sparsely scattered throughout areas or appearing randomly from defeated enemies. No instance of the Serpent Hoop has a set location, and several of them may appear every day. As such a common treasure, it has a weight of 1, and only 1 Pikmin can carry it. It is also only 5 units worth of metal, the lowest value in the game.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- “Why does a complex shape like this occur in such abundance? Its composition is consistent throughout, and its coil so precise, that it cannot be naturally occurring. But I cannot conceive what common purpose a shape like this must have served to become so plentiful. Hopefully some crystal tests back in the KHA labs can tell if this coiled hoop is a typical molecular pattern. Until then, it remains the hoop through which I am training Pikmin to hop.”
