The Savvy Gourmet Legs is a large, armored arachnorb that inhabits kitchens. It is initially found disguised as a pile of mere eating utensils and cookware, but reveals its true form when approached by Pikmin and leaders. It stands up with a loud clatter, which sends Pikmin into a panic. After idling for some moments, it begins to stomp around, crushing or impaling anything its feet happen to land on. Like most other arachnorbs, the Savvy Gourmet Legs will periodically stop to idle in place for some moments, lowering and raising its main body before starting to move again.
Covering almost the entire body of the Savvy Gourmet Legs is impenetrable shiny metal armor that strongly resembles stainless steel. It possesses the usual arachnorb physiology, more closely resembling a Beady Long Legs than any other member of its family, having a spherical main body connected to four long, slender legs that each have three joints and terminate in a single foot. Its feet resemble a fork, spoon, spork, and meat tenderizer, while its main body has what resembles an upside-down metal colander resting on it as a makeshift helmet.
The Savvy Gourmet Legs makes for a challenging opponent in battle because of its size, abilities, and overall lack of weaknesses. It is a tall arachnorb, almost requiring Yellow Pikmin, Winged Pikmin, or other high-reaching Pikmin types to be able to harm it. Although Pikmin may climb its legs, which they must be thrown onto because of the shape of the Savvy Long Legs's feet, they are incapable of attacking the creature's vulnerable main body because of its colander helmet. Additionally, throwing Purple Pikmin so they pound on its feet is ineffective and causes the Savvy Gourmet Legs no harm. Avoiding its feet is no problem, however, although its meat tenderizer foot is quite large and can easily crush unfocused Pikmin and leaders. The Savvy Gourmet Legs makes a loud clattering sound not only when standing up but also when shaking Pikmin off of itself, and this clattering noise makes Pikmin panic. As mentioned previously, the Savvy Gourmet Legs' sole weakness is its vulnerable main body, the top half of which is partially protected by its helmet although the bottom half is fully exposed. Upon death, the Savvy Gourmet Legs will stiffen up, drop from its main body whatever it may have ingested, and then fall apart harmlessly until it resembles the disguised form it was initially found in.
