===New foes, new friends===
After some time Olimar moves on to the second area (suspicious glade) after completing some objectives (probably collecting items) and finds some more types of pikmin (probably rock, maybe brown or orange) and items.
However, the Illuminati high council realise that someone on the planet is "throwing a wrench into their plans" by stealing their technology, sabotaging some of their outposts and attacking their troops/pikmin/machines. Understandably their mildly ticked off by this and send a termination squad to kill Olimar and kill and/or convert his pikmin.
The day after the order is given out Olimar is busy with his pikmin planning what to do next when out of nowhere a dropship appears and the squad gets out. Before Olimar can throw a single pikmin the ship fires a pulse cannon, rendering the pikmin unconscious and Olimar on the ground. Just as the squad commander is about to shoot him, another ship arrives and blows up the Illuminati dropship. Troopers get out of the attacking ship and kill all the Illuminati soldiers. Just as one of the soldiers from the attacking force starts talking to him, he passes out.
Olimar wakes up in what appears to be a medical bay on-board a ship. A nurse tells him that he's been unconscious for 5 hours. Olimar asks what happened while he was out (like any sensible spaceman would). He (yes, a male nurse, how shocking) tells Olimar that the troops took care of a nearby outpost (so that's  off Olimars to-do list) which was attacking them after the death of the termination squad. The soldiers then brought him to where he is now. He is also told that the force field has gone from one way to complete block mode, but they do not understand why the Illuminati didn't generate the field earlier. Olimar asks one final question before leaving the medical bay...
"who are you?"
The nurse replies that they are the HQDG (human quadrant defence grid)and they were set up by the survivors of the Great Triad war who settled on the habitable moons of Jupiter and Saturn.
Olimar say's thanks for the info and looking after him. He then heads off to look at the rest of the ship, if it is a ship...
===Nice space station you've got there===
Turns out Olimars latter assumption turned out to be correct. He is on a space station rather then a space ship. Olimar asks someone what this place is. The man, called Jeff, replies that the ship is called the HQSS Aldrin (after buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon because calling it Armstrong would be too lazy and generic. HQSS stands for human quadrant space station/ship) and it was deployed into the planets atmosphere just before the force field was activated. The station is cloaked at the moment, explaining why the Illuminati haven't found them yet.
Jeff tells Olimar to go and meet his friend Jack, who knows more about the situation.
===The meeting===
Olimar try's to find Jack but to no avail. This is until it is announced over the stations communication system that a ship is docking into the station. The people on-board the ship are also announced, one of them being Jack. Olimar rushes over to the docking port to meet him. When he arrives Jack says he's busy at the moment and that Olimar has to wait until there is a meeting.
Some time later the meeting is announced to be starting soon. Olimar arrives at the meeting room at meets up with Jack, who explains that they were just on a mission to gather intel. As the meeting progresses it is revealed that the force field is being powered by 6 generators (why is it always 3's or multiples of 3 with these guys) that have to be destroyed to allow anyone to enter/exit the planet.
One of the generators is in the suspicious glade (the area where Olimar is now), so they will tackle that one first.

The map gameplay will act the same as most pikmin games (collecting items, battling enemies, etc.). However, a new gameplay mechanic has been added, assignments! Assignments are basically scripted missions you can attend, think of it like the just cause games. Their are two main types: story and optional. Story assignments must be completed for you to be allowed to continue the game. Optional ones are just for fun, but some might play into the story a bit.

Template:PTROTI Pikmin: The Rise of the Illuminati is more of a silly concept than a full-out game (still with plenty of content, just not to the extent of a main fangame). This game is being designed by EmperorRagingLongLegs.


Story

Day 1

Upon discovering a new area on the Pikmin Planet, Olimar and friends land on the surface. All they see are Glowstems, and, suddenly, three onions appear out of the ground, arranged in a triangle. Olimar is not sure what it means, so he jots down some quick notes and starts to approach the triangle. Out of nowhere comes a giant foot, squashing the onions. Olimar looks up, but he isn't quite sure what he's looking at. Some tall creature with two legs, two arms, and a pyramid with an eye on each side for a head. The creature dismisses Olimar and walks on. Little does Olimar know, the Illuminati have returned (with the aid of Glowstems) to Earth to dissolve all world governments, and it's up to Olimar to stop them. Story continues here.
