Plot
Thousands of years after Pikmin: Planetary Evolution, two new captains, Terra and Stella, have discovered a threat. A threat stronger than the largest Bulborb. They discovered, Spoliontoniumite! The substance then leaked out into space, where it fell to PNF-404, and it made many new life-forms, and the two new captains must study the new creatures, but something....someONE, is waiting for them there. They go and with their ship,The Griffin land on a rocky, dusty hill, that Stella names the Granite Outpost. The Griffin then tells them that an "Onion" or something similar is near.
