Pikmin: Scratched Puzzles is a fanon game created by CJ-Does-Pikmin. It was created for the Scratch Design Studio, "Size Surprises" in April 2024.

Story

Opening

The opening starts with a repeating animation of a ship flying through space on a wrinkled paper sheet. The text above reads "Me and my coworker Louie were sent on another voyage..." Upon hitting enter, the paper crumples and smooths out to change the scene. It then shows the same ship headed toward a two-story house in the foreground. The sky is dark, showing that it is nearly nighttime. "Chacho sent us out for better equipment, now that our last debt was paid nearly double." The scene changes to a porch with a window box, the ship landing in the overgrown foliage, and a mosquito fluttering near the camera. "May I, Captain Olimar, leave this planet without harm? Only time will tell." The scene changes to a grassy field with the Olimar standing, surprised before the S.S. Dolphin 12 as Louie runs off. "Louie saw something and has run ahead once again... He seems to have found more treasure." The scene changes to a plain field with Louie pointing at a treasure, the Wonder Shield, a rusty 7up bottle cap. Olimar notices a Pikmin Sprout and walks up to it, before the camera zooms in and the paper becomes flat, beginning the Tutorial, where the player is instructed to pluck the Pikmin. It turns out to be a Red Pikmin, wherein the player is instructed to throw, at which point they will hit Twirlypop, allowing them access to the Wonder Shield and bring it offscreen. The Player is then instructed to walk over to Louie, whistle to alert him, and then jump over a pit before progressing and ending the Tutorial.

Ending

Ending
At some point in the story, the Ship gets taken by a cat and dropped somewhere else, and now the ship's crucial components are missing. The ending has the Player beating the boss and getting the last crucial part, the Mainframe Engine. Having the max 40 Purple Pikmin, the Player can bring the Mainframe Engine to the ship, initiating the ending cutscene where the camera zooms out to reveal the paper again. It changes scenes to the original landing site, where Olimar stands before the ship with the Purple Pikmin carrying the Mainframe Engine, the text above reading "I found it, and now I can return home!" The next scene has the Purple Pikmin stand back and wave as the ship takes off. The next scene shows Louie standing and staring at the ship in the night sky, the Purple Pikmin all looking at him. The text above reads "But I left something behind." The camera then zooms out as the text fades, and the camera pans up to show a coffee table with a TV in front of it. There's a pin on the paper in front of the camera, which shows Louie's face. The title screen music fades back in and the menu pops up, now with Credits and Map Maker available.
