All of the enemies from Pikmin: Distant Planet are in this game because this game is the sequel to DP. This game has nothing to do with any other game ecxept DP.

Gameplay
The gameplay is the same as DP. Except the game saves in dungeons and time is paused like Pikmin 2 in caves. Also, the dungeons are the caves.
